Rather expected game when 9th ranked HyPo (1-9) was smashed at home by sixth ranked Aanekosken (6-4) 76-54 on Saturday. Aanekosken forced 22 HyPo turnovers. It was a good game for American center Kenya Robinson (182-70, college: New Orleans) who led her team to a victory with 17 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import swingman Jasmin Holliday (182-90, college: Oregon) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Aanekosken players scored in double figures. American forward Kathlyn Varno (185-88, college: Wofford) replied with 7 points and 16 rebounds and guard Aino Tuomi (165-90) added 18 points in the effort for HyPo. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aanekosken moved-up to fifth place, which they share with ToPo. HyPo lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with nine games lost. They share it with BC Nokia. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
