There was a surprise result when sixteenth ranked Entente Orleans 45 (2-5) beat at home higher ranked STB Le Havre (2-5) 89-75 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Entente Orleans 45. STB Le Havre was better in second period 25-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Entente Orleans 45 shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jahmar Young (196-86, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!). The former international point guard Marc-Antoine Pellin (169-87) contributed with 17 points and 9 assists for the winners. American center Graham Brown (205-84, college: Michigan) answered with 17 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Bernard King (196-81, college: Texas A&M) added 15 points and 6 assists in the effort for STB Le Havre. Four STB Le Havre players scored in double figures. Entente Orleans 45 moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated STB Le Havre. STB Le Havre lost fifth consecutive game. Entente Orleans 45 will face higher ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
