Very important is a road loss of third ranked LF Future (6-2) against eighth ranked Solna Branten (4-4) on Saturday night. Visiting LF Future was crushed by Solna Branten in Solna 86-62. The game without a history. Solna Branten led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 32 and made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded LF Future 42-23 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Solna Branten players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by LF Future's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Niklas Larsson (198-94) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Jesper Eliasson (204-94) who added 20 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Solna Branten players scored in double figures. Guard Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Australian swingman Timothy Kearney (200-86) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Solna Branten moved-up to sixth place in North, which they share with Alvik Basket. LF Future at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. Solna Branten will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. LF Future's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Lulea to the arena BG Lulea.
