Regular Season Round 7: HK Zory - Sudety 76-92

An interesting game where Sudety (#3) beat host HK Zory (#6) with 16-point difference 92-76 on Saturday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Sudety. HK Zory managed to win fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sudety forced 22 HK Zory turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Rafal Niesobski (189-82) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. point guard Michal Kozak (179-92) helped adding 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). At the losing side guard Marcin Marczyk (187-83) responded with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Lukasz Ochodek (195-82) scored 22 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sudety maintains third place in Group B with 4-2 record behind leader Korsarz Gdansk, which they share with GTK Gliwice and Tychy. Loser HK Zory keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with WKK Wroclaw. Sudety will meet at home Tychy (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. HK Zory will play against Wschowa and hope to secure a win.
