No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Universidad de Valladolid (3-2) beat on the road bottom-ranked Arxil Pontevedra (0-5) 48-35 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 48-35. Universidad de Valladolid dominated on the defensive end, holding Arxil Pontevedra to just 2 points in third quarter and to 11 points in second half. Universidad de Valladolid forced 19 Arxil Pontevedra turnovers. Point guard Cristina Salinas (162-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 4 steals.
