Rather predictable result in Shizuoka where fourth ranked Chanson V-M (11-4) defeated 8th ranked Toyota B SR (5-10) 77-68. Toyota B SR was ahead by 7 points at the halftime before a 43-27 second half run of Chanson V-M. They made 25-of-29 charity shots (86.2 percent) during the game. International forward Kana Motoyama (180-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points. Swingman Key Miho (176-85) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Chanson V-M's coach Isao Kimura allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Sakiko Nomachi (175-87) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) in the effort for Toyota B SR.
