Regular Season Round 8: Malbas - Haga Haninge 73-68

An interesting game for Malbas (6-2) which hosted in Malmo second-ranked Haga Haninge (6-2). Third ranked Malbas managed to get a 5-point victory 73-68. The winners were led by guard Kristoffer Gafor (194-92) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Dwight Bankhead (181-83) supported him with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Malbas' coach Henrik Svensson used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Tomas Oberg (183-82) did not help to save the game for Haga Haninge. Guard Bjorn Johansson (190-83) added 20 points for the guests. Malbas have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in South, which they share with Brahe Basket and Haga Haninge. Malbas will meet Sanda Basket (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Haga Haninge will have a break next round.
