Regular Season Round 12: Takamatsu FA - Hamamatsu P. 72-69

A very interesting game took place in Takamatsu. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (8-6) to seventh ranked Takamatsu FA (4-6) 72-69 on Saturday evening. Takamatsu FA brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for American power forward Paul Williams (208-83, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: I.D.S. Law) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds. Swingman Hiroyuki Kikuchi (192-83) contributed with 23 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winners. Four Takamatsu FA players scored in double figures. American point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern, agency: Top Notch Sports) replied with 23 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic, agency: Top Notch Sports) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Hamamatsu Phoenix. Hamamatsu Phoenix's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Takamatsu FA maintains seventh position with 4-6 record. Hamamatsu Phoenix at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
