Everything could happen in Edmonton at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Alberta and one of their biggest challengers Lethbridge had identical 3-2 record. This time Alberta used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Lethbridge 68-44 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Alberta. Lethbridge was better in fourth quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lethbridge to just 4 points in third quarter. Alberta dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Lethbridge's 22. Alberta forced 23 Lethbridge turnovers. Forward Kendra Asleson (183-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Sally Hillier (168) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Alberta's coach Scott Edwards felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Ali Cameron (163) replied with 17 points and 5 steals and guard Katlyn Olsen (168) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Lethbridge. Alberta (4-2) moved-up to second place, which they share with UBC and Victoria. Lethbridge lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with three games lost.
