Everything could happen in Tokyo at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Aishin Wings and 11th ranked Ebara Vickies had identical 4-11 record. But Ebara Vickies were not able to use a home court advantage and were crushed by the opponent from Anjo 76-56 on Sunday night. The game without a history. Aishin Wings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Aishin Wings outrebounded Ebara Vickies 40-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was power forward Shiyu Sato (178-87) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Hitomi Takasaki (168-86) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Four Aishin Wings players scored in double figures. Aishin Wings' coach Yamada Kagari used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Inamoto Satoko (165-84) who recorded 22 points and 4 assists and swingman Misako Rikuden (172-86) added 7 points and 5 assists respectively. Aishin Wings (5-11) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Toyota B SR. Newly promoted Ebara Vickies dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. Aishin Wings will face higher ranked Denso Iris (#7) in Kariya in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ebara Vickies will play on the road against Toyota B SR in Aichi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
