UCAM Murcia (#13) forced the game against G.Canaria 2014 (#5) into an overtime, but lost by two points 97-99 on Sunday night. The game took place in Murcia. But the guests from Las Palmas were better at the end. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime then UCAM Murcia managed to tie the game at the end of regular time. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. G.Canaria 2014 have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Valencia and Gescrap BB. Loser UCAM Murcia keeps the thirteenth position with five games lost. G.Canaria 2014 will meet Blusens Monbus (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. UCAM Murcia will play against Blancos de Rueda (#11) in Valladolid and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
