Trenkwalder RE managed to secure a 9-point victory 77-68 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-17. But SAIE3 BO won second period 16-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Trenkwalder RE won last quarter 19-12. The best player for the winners was American guard Donnel Taylor (198-82, college: UAB) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Serbian guard Mladen Jeremic (196-88, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. The former international Angelo Gigli (209-83) produced 12 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Trenkwalder RE will meet league's leader Cimberio Varese on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
