The game in Cagliari supposed to be also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Taranto (4-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Cagliari CUS (1-4). Taranto did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 70-52 on Sunday. The game without a history. Taranto led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Cagliari CUS to just 7 points in second quarter. Taranto dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Cagliari CUS's 22.
