Regular Season Round 10: UFV - Manitoba 83-59

There was a small surprise in Abbotsford, BC where fourth ranked Cascades (4-3) outscored much higher ranked Bisons (4-3) 83-59 on Friday. The game without a history. Cascades led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Kevon Parchment scored 28 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Nathan Kendall (196) chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Cascades players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Yigit Ozsayiner (198) responded with 10 points and 7 rebounds and guard Xavier Smith (188) scored 10 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cascades moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Bisons. Cascades will face league's second-placed Wesmen in Winnipeg, MB in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bisons will play on the road against Spartans in Langley, BC.
