Regular Season Round 10: UPEI - Acadia 79-86

Rather expected game in Charlottetown, PEI where one of their biggest challengers Panthers (3-2) were defeated by top-ranked Axemen (5-0) 86-79 on Friday. Axemen dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Panthers' 26. Point guard Jonathan Tull (190, college: Cent.Conn.St.) scored 35 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Owen Klassen (208-91) chipped in 15 points and 17 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Terrence Brown (186) responded with 26 points and 6 assists and Deontay Smith scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Axemen have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record which they share with defeated Panthers. Loser Panthers still keep top place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
