There was no surprise when 9th ranked Osaka Evessa (1-9) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Shimane Magic (9-5) 82-77 on Friday. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning two of next three quarters and won the game by 5 points. Shimane Magic made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. The game was also dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St., agency: I.D.S. Law) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds.
