Regular Season Round 9: Haga Haninge - Brahe Basket 84-86

The most interesting game of round 9 in the Basketettan was only two-point a home defeat of 4th placed Haga Haninge (6-3) to third ranked Brahe Basket (7-2) 86-84. Brahe Basket forced 20 Haga Haninge turnovers. Jamaican center Hugh Robinson (202-83) stepped up and scored 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Nigerian forward Kevin Ukhagbe (200-85, college: Bethany, KS) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Bjorn Johansson (190-83) with 25 points and guard Tomas Oberg (183-82) scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Haga Haninge players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Brahe Basket moved-up to second place in South, which they share with Malbas. Haga Haninge lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with three games lost. Brahe Basket is looking forward to face Boras II (#5) at home in the next round. Haga Haninge will play against Hoganas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
