The game between closely ranked teams ended with second ranked Ravens' (5-1) home victory over 3rd placed Gryphons (1-4) 104-54 on Saturday. The game without a history. Ravens led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Gryphons' 22 and made 17-of-17 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They outrebounded Gryphons 30-13 including a 21-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for international guard Philip Scrubb (190-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). International forward Tyson Hinz (198-91) helped adding 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Ravens players scored in double figures. Forward Stefan Cornelissen (201) responded with 12 points and guard Michel Clark (185) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ravens have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 5-1 record behind leader Windsor, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Gryphons keep the third position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
