Regular Season Round 19: Toyota B SR - Ebara Vickies 58-67

There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Toyota B SR (5-12) lost to eleventh ranked Ebara Vickies (5-12) in Aichi 58-67 on Saturday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-13. But Toyota B SR won second period 19-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ebara Vickies had a 36-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for guard Inamoto Satoko (165-84) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Mitsuboshi Hayano (175-86) accounted for 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and guard Yoshie Watanabe (162-86) added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Toyota B SR in the defeat. Ebara Vickies moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated Toyota B SR. Toyota B SR lost their seventh game in a row. Ebara Vickies' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tokyo to the arena .
