Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Entente Orleans 45 (2-6) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (5-3) 75-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. Gravelines-Dunkerque led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Ludovic Vaty (206-88, college: Moraine Valley CC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American point guard Dwight Buycks (190-89, college: Marquette) who added 23 points during the contest. Four Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. Gravelines-Dunkerque's coach Christian Monschau used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Brian Greene (204-81, college: Colorado St.) responded with 12 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Caleb Green (203-85, college: ORU) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. Gravelines-Dunkerque moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Entente Orleans 45 dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. Gravelines-Dunkerque will face Cholet (#5) at home in the next round. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Boulazac Basket (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
