Sixteenth-ranked Gigantes (2-24) made lots of trouble for eleventh ranked Correcaminos (10-16) in Ciudad Victoria. Correcaminos managed to secure only one-point victory 88-87. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 25-20 run, which allowed them to win the game. Correcaminos made 20-of-22 charity shots (90.9 percent) during the game.
