Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Limoges CSP Elite and 11th ranked Chorale de Roanne had identical 3-4 record. But Chorale de Roanne was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Limoges 71-67 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 42-37 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jon Brockman (201-87, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized Congolese forward Nobel Boungou Colo (202-88) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Limoges CSP Elite's coach Panagiotis Giannakis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Naturalized Ivorian guard Pape-Philippe Amagou (185-85, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 18 points and American power forward Coleman Collins (206-86, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Interperformances) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Chorale de Roanne players scored in double figures. Limoges CSP Elite (4-4) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Strasbourg and Nanterre. Loser Chorale de Roanne dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Limoges CSP Elite will face STB Le Havre (#10) at home in the next round. Chorale de Roanne will play against JDA Dijon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
