Even a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by forward Darcy Garbin (185-94) did not help to save the game for West Coast Waves. New Zealand forward Antonia Edmondson (181-87) added 15 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dandenong Rangers have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 9-2 record having just -1 point less than leader Bendigo S. West Coast Waves lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. Dandenong Rangers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. West Coast Waves will play against Townsville Fire (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
