Regular Season Round 9: Helsingborg - Hogsbo 76-90

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Helsingborg (1-7) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Hogsbo (4-6) 90-76 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Hogsbo. Helsingborg was better in fourth quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hogsbo forced 20 Helsingborg turnovers. Helsingborg was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Markus Lenngren (196-83) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and forward Jonathan Peleg (191-94) chipped in 22 points and 5 steals. Four Hogsbo players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Niklas Sellin (197-91) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized Serbian forward Stefan Radojevic (196-91) scored 15 points. Helsingborg's coach Rachid El-Hallah tested eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hogsbo moved-up to eighth place in South. Loser Helsingborg keeps the eleventh position with seven games lost. Hogsbo will face league's leader IK Eos in Lund in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Helsingborg will play at home against Haga Haninge (#4).
