No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Thompson Rivers (5-3) crushed bottom-ranked Brandon (0-8) in Kamloops 73-35 on Saturday. The game without a history. Thompson Rivers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brandon to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Thompson Rivers held Brandon to an opponent 19.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Thompson Rivers forced 34 Brandon turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Thompson Rivers made 7 blocks. Center Diane Schuetze (191) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds.
