Everything went according to plan when third ranked Western (4-2) defeated 6th ranked Ryerson (2-4) in London 63-55 on Saturday. Western had a 31-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Jenny Vaughan (175-90, college: Denver) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Laura Dally (180-92) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. point guard Cassandra Nofuente (175) answered with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and guard Silvana Jez (185) added 8 points in the effort for Ryerson. Western keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Carleton and Toronto Univ. Loser Ryerson keeps the sixth place with four games lost.
