CIS round 11 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader Toronto (4-2) against leader Windsor (6-0) 85-54 was the most important game of the last round. The game without a history. Windsor led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Toronto's 30. They outrebounded Toronto 52-35 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Windsor looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Toronto's players. Point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (176-91) orchestrated the victory with a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds, 14 assists and 5 steals. Guard Korissa Williams (177-92) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Windsor players scored in double figures. Forward Amanda Lauzon (185) answered with 8 points and 9 rebounds and guard Jasmine Lewin (170-90, college: E.Kentucky) added 5 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Toronto. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Windsor have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with St.Mary's. Toronto at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by UFV who have the same record. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
