Important game to mention about took place in . Ninth ranked TuRi (3-9) saved a 2-point victory at home edging higher ranked Aanekosken (7-5) 50-48 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aanekosken. It looked good early as Aanekosken took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then TuRi had a 16-9 second period charge getting the lead and Aanekosken was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 48-50. It was a good game for Canadian guard Brittany Hedderson (175-90, college: Buffalo) who led her team to a victory with 16 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Callan Taylor (182-90, college: Sacred Heart) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. TuRi's coach Juha Ruohonen allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American center Kenya Robinson (182-70, college: New Orleans) answered with 8 points and 14 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the other American import swingman Jasmin Holliday (182-90, college: Oregon) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Aanekosken. Newly promoted TuRi maintains ninth place with 3-9 record. Aanekosken at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with ToPo and Honka. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
