The game between second ranked Akita Happinets (9-3) and eighth ranked Chiba Jets (5-7) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Akita Happinets were defeated by Chiba Jets in Akita 74-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Akita Happinets. Akita Happinets' coach rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chiba Jets moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Sendai 89ers. Akita Happinets at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. Chiba Jets is looking forward to face Sendai 89ers (#8) at home in the next round. Akita Happinets will play against Niigata Albirex (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
