Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Naoto Tsuji (185-89) who added 24 points during the contest. Bahamas power forward Magnum Rolle (211-86, college: Louisiana Tech) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Ron Hale (203-77, college: Florida St.) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Toshiba Thunders moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hitachi SR. Loser Mitsubishi Dolphins keep the sixth position with 11 games lost. Toshiba Thunders will face Tochigi Brex (#7) on the road in the next round. Mitsubishi Dolphins will play against the league's leader Toyota Alvark in Fuchu.
