No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked CAI Zaragoza (6-3) crushed at home 12th ranked FIATC Joventut (4-5) 77-57 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by CAI Zaragoza. FIATC Joventut was better in second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American guard Michael Roll (196-87, college: UCLA) who led his team to a victory with 26 points. Guard Pedro Llompart (190-82) contributed with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American-Georgian point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova) answered with 17 points and guard Albert Oliver (187-78) added 13 points in the effort for FIATC Joventut. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for CAI Zaragoza. They maintain fifth place with 6-3 record, which they share with Caja Laboral. FIATC Joventut lost their third game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with five games lost. CAI Zaragoza will face league's leader Real Madrid on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. FIATC Joventut will play against CB Canarias (#14) in Tenerife and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
