Regular Season Round 15: Hamamatsu P. - Shiga L-Stars 77-72

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Shiga L-Stars' (7-7) road loss to fifth ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (9-7) in Mikawa 72-77 on Sunday. Shiga L-Stars were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was a good game for American forward Adrian Thomas (200-87, college: Miami, FL) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic, agency: Top Notch Sports) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Hamamatsu Phoenix players scored in double figures. American guard Wayne Arnold (193-84, college: Tennessee St., agency: Top Notch Sports) answered with 17 points and guard Shinya Ogawa (183-83) added 15 points in the effort for Shiga L-Stars. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hamamatsu Phoenix moved-up to fourth place. Loser Shiga L-Stars keep the sixth position with seven games lost. Hamamatsu Phoenix will face Takamatsu FA (#8) at home in the next round. Shiga L-Stars will play against Shimane Magic.
