Everything went according to plan when third ranked Sigma Barcellona (6-2) beat on the road 12th ranked Prima Veroli (2-6) 82-78 on Sunday. Prima Veroli was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 21-14 charge of Sigma Barcellona, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of center Manuele Mocavero (203-80) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and American point guard Taurean Green (184-85, college: Florida) who added 12 points and 4 assists during the contest. American point guard Erving Walker (172-90, college: Florida) responded with 18 points and 4 assists and forward Giovanni Carenza (202-88, college: St.Anselm) scored 20 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field).
