Rather predictable result in Hod Hasharon where sixth ranked Maccabi Rishon (4-2) defeated 9th ranked Bnei Hasharon (2-4) 91-76. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Rishon. Bnei Hasharon was better in third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi Rishon players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Julian Wright (203-87, college: Kansas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Jamaican-American power forward Adrian Uter (200-84, college: Hofstra, agency: Gross Zeev ISA) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Maccabi Rishon players scored in double figures. American-Mexican swingman Romel Beck (201-82, college: UNLV, agency: Interperformances) answered with 25 points and naturalized American power forward Isaac Rosefelt (204-85, college: St.Thomas, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Maccabi Rishon moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hapoel Eilat and Hapoel T-A. Bnei Hasharon lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with four games lost. Maccabi Rishon's next round opponent will be Hapoel J-M (#7) in Jerusalem.
