Regular Season Round 10: Yunnan - Beijing 82-75

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Qujing. Third ranked Qujing Yunnan faced one of their biggest challengers Beijing Great Wall. Host Qujing Yunnan (6-4) defeated guests from Beijing (5-5) 82-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Beijing Great Wall. Beijing Great Wall was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 22-10 third quarter run of Qujing Yunnan. They made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Lindsay Taylor (203-81, college: UCSB) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Betty Cao (180-87) contributed with 23 points for the winners. American forward Sophia Young (186-83, college: Baylor) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and South Korean guard Yeong-Ok Kim (170-74) added 16 points in the effort for Beijing Great Wall. Four Qujing Yunnan and five Beijing Great Wall players scored in double figures. Qujing Yunnan maintains third position with 6-4 record having just two points less than leader Shanxi, which they share with Liaoning. Beijing Great Wall at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Shenyang and Shanghai. Qujing Yunnan will play against Liaoning Hengye (#3) in Anshan in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Beijing Great Wall will play at home against the league's leader Shanxi in Taiyuan and hopes to get back on the winning track.
