Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Doha: Al Sadd (#1) and Al Gharafa (#5). Al Gharafa was defeated at home 65-75 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Al Sadd outrebounded Al Gharafa 48-23 including a 15-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was international swingman Khalid Suliman (198-87) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. American-Dominican point guard Chris De La Rosa (175-88, college: UMBC, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. International swingman Ousseynou N'Diaye (196-85, agency: Court Side) produced 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and international center Omar Abdelkader (206-83) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
