An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Wolfville, NS. Top-ranked Axemen faced 3rd ranked X-Men. Host Axemen (6-0) defeated guests from Antigonish, NS (4-3) 84-71. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-71. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Axemen made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Owen Klassen (208-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 blocks and point guard Jonathan Tull (190, college: Cent.Conn.St.) who added 23 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Axemen players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Dominican center Rodrigo Madera (208-90) with 15 points and 7 rebounds and forward Jeremy Dunn (196) scored 15 points. Axemen have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record, which they share with Ryerson. Loser X-Men keeps the third place with three games lost.
