Leader Golden Bears delivered the eighth victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Timberwolves (4-5) 78-74 in Prince George, BC. Timberwolves were ahead by 9 points after three quarters before a 32-19 charge of Golden Bears, which allowed them to win the game. Golden Bears had a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by international guard Jordan Baker (192-91, college: Utah Valley) who scored that evening 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Sahr Saffa (191-90) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Five Golden Bears players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 8 rebounds by forward Gabe Aubertin (201) did not help to save the game for Timberwolves. Swingman Sam Raphael (188) added 17 points. Golden Bears (8-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Timberwolves lost third consecutive game.
