Leader Golden Bears delivered the eighth victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Timberwolves (4-5) 78-74 in Prince George, BC. Timberwolves were ahead by 9 points after three quarters before a 32-19 charge of Golden Bears, which allowed them to win the game. Golden Bears had a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by international guard Jordan Baker (192-91, college: Utah Valley) who scored that evening 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Sahr Saffa (191-90) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Five Golden Bears players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 8 rebounds by forward Gabe Aubertin (201) did not help to save the game for Timberwolves. Swingman Sam Raphael (188) added 17 points. Golden Bears (8-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Timberwolves lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
