Very expected game when bottom-ranked Waterloo (0-6) was smashed at home by first ranked Carleton (5-2) 76-57 on Friday. The game without a history. Carleton led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Waterloo's 16. Carleton forced 24 Waterloo turnovers. Waterloo was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for forward Lindsay Shotbolt (180) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Alyson Bush (170) contributed with 13 points and 6 steals for the winners. Guard Laura Bossers (178) answered with 12 points and 5 rebounds and Swedish guard Erika Persson (178-88) added 8 points and 4 assists in the effort for Waterloo.
