We should mention about the upset which took place in Buenos Aires, where higher ranked Argentino (11-9) was outleveled in a road game by fourteenth ranked Obras (6-12) 87-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Argentino. The game without a history. Obras led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Argentino to just 6 points in third quarter. Obras shot 23 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Argentino only scored five points from the stripe. 27 personal fouls committed by Argentino helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
