Very important is a road loss of third ranked Shimane Magic (9-6) against sixth ranked Shiga L-Stars (8-7) on Saturday night. Visiting Shimane Magic was defeated by Shiga L-Stars in a tough game in Shiga 77-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Shimane Magic. Shimane Magic was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 31-19 charge of Shiga L-Stars, which allowed them to win the game. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. The winners were led by Panamanian forward Dionisio Gomez Camargo (203-80, college: Arkansas) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and American guard Wayne Arnold (193-84, college: Tennessee St., agency: Top Notch Sports) supported him with 29 points. Shiga L-Stars' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 22 points and 6 rebounds by American forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) did not help to save the game for Shimane Magic. point guard Kouki Yamabuchi (183-84) added 20 points for lost side. Shiga L-Stars maintains sixth position with 8-7 record. Shimane Magic at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Oita H.Devils and Fukuoka Rizing. Shiga L-Stars will again play against higher ranked Shimane Magic (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Shimane Magic will have a break next round.
