Not a big story in a game in Bilbao where 15th ranked Assignia Manresa (1-9) was rolled over by fourth ranked Gescrap BB (8-2) 83-63 on Saturday. The game without a history. Gescrap BB led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Assignia Manresa's 28. Belgian forward Axel Hervelle (205-83) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and French power forward Adrien Moerman (203-88) chipped in 13 points during the contest. At the losing side American guard Troy DeVries (193-82, college: N.Mexico) responded with 23 points and American-Dominican power forward Josh Asselin (210-78, college: Michigan) scored 12 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Gescrap BB have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Valencia. Loser Assignia Manresa dropped to the sixteenth position with nine games lost. Gescrap BB will face Cajasol (#17) in Sevilla in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Assignia Manresa will play at home against CAI Zaragoza.
