The game in Pleternica supposed to be also quite interesting. Top-ranked Jolly (8-0) played at the court of 7th ranked Pleter (3-5). Jolly smashed Pleter 91-63 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pleter. The game was mostly controlled by Jolly. Pleter managed to win fourth quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Pleter's 28. They outrebounded Pleter 30-12 including a 22-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Luca Ivankovic (207-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds (on 15-of-19 shooting from the field) and international forward Antonija Misura (178-88) who added 18 points and 5 assists during the contest. Power forward Ana Vrsaljko (188-84) responded with 17 points and the former international guard Martina Gambiraza (176-82) scored 13 points and 4 steals. Four Pleter players scored in double figures. Pleter's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Jolly have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Novi Zagreb. Loser Pleter keeps the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Split. Jolly will meet at home Gospic (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pleter will play against Rockwool Pula (#10) and hope to secure a win.
