Very important is a road loss of second ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (5-2) against seventh ranked AZS AGH Alstom (3-4) on Saturday night. Visiting Tur Bielsk Pdl. was defeated by AZS AGH Alstom in Krakow 84-73. Tur Bielsk Pdl. was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. AZS AGH Alstom forced 24 Tur Bielsk Pdl. turnovers. Strangely Tur Bielsk Pdl. outrebounded AZS AGH Alstom 47-31 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. AZS AGH Alstom moved-up to fourth place in Group C, which they share with Pulaski Warka and Rosa II Radom. Loser Tur Bielsk Pdl. dropped to the third position with two games lost. AZS AGH Alstom will face Novum Lublin (#7) on the road in the next round. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play against Wisla AWF Kr. (#10) in Krakow.
