The game in Caceres supposed to be also quite interesting. 4th placed Universidad de Valladolid (3-3) played at the court of fifth ranked Al-Qazeres (4-2). Al-Qazeres smashed Universidad de Valladolid 69-46 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Universidad de Valladolid. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-46. Al-Qazeres dominated on the defensive end, holding Universidad de Valladolid to just 7 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Universidad de Valladolid 46-19 including a 35-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Veronica Sanchez (179-85) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Center Alejandra De La De La Fuente (192-88) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. They moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Ensino. Loser Universidad de Valladolid dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Al-Qazeres will face Pabellon Ourense (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Universidad de Valladolid will play against the league's second-placed Cortegada (#2) in Vilagarcia Arousa.
