Not a big story in a game in Fredericton, NB where 5th ranked Varsity Reds (3-5) were defeated by top-ranked Capers (7-0) 95-83 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Capers. Varsity Reds was better in second period 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 33-of-42 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Varsity Reds were plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Jimmy Dorsey (188) scored 20 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Shaquille Keith (196) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Guard Daniel Quirion (183) responded with 28 points and 4 assists and Matthew Daley (175) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
