The game between Top Four teams took place in Waterloo, ON. One of their biggest challengers host Golden Hawks (2-5) were smashed by second ranked Ravens (7-1) 100-72. The game was mostly controlled by Ravens. Golden Hawks was better in fourth quarter 25-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ravens dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Golden Hawks' 28 and made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Golden Hawks 37-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Ravens especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. Five Ravens players scored in double figures. Guard Maxwell Allin (193) responded with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Jamar Forde (190) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ravens have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-1 record behind leader Ryerson, which they share with Ottawa. Golden Hawks lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with five games lost. Ravens will face Voyageurs (#5) in Sudbury, ON in the next round. Golden Hawks will play on the road against the league's leader Lancers in Windsor, ON and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
