A very close game took place in Omegna between Omegna and Mirandola. Eighth ranked Omegna (6-6) got a very close home victory over 17th ranked Mirandola (3-10). Omegna managed to escape with a 3-point win 66-63 on Saturday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Mirandola cut a 13-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. Omegna maintains eighth place with 6-6 record, which they share with Bari. Newly promoted Mirandola dropped to the eighteenth position with ten games lost. Omegna will meet higher ranked Lucca (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mirandola will play against Mazzeo San Severo (#12) and hope to secure a win.
