An interesting game for Slask Wroclaw (10-1) which played road game in Kutno against second-ranked AZS Kutno (8-3). First ranked Slask Wroclaw had an easy win 96-55. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of AZS Kutno. The game without a history. Slask Wroclaw led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to AZS Kutno's 24 and made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Slask Wroclaw especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. AZS Kutno was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international guard Pawel Kikowski (193-86, agency: Limelight Hoops) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Lukasz Diduszko (197-86) helped adding 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Slask Wroclaw players scored in double figures. Power forward Wojciech Glabas (207-90) responded with 10 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Krzysztof Jakobczyk (183-86) scored 10 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Slask Wroclaw have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. AZS Kutno at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Stal Ostrow. Slask Wroclaw will play against bottom-ranked AZS PP (#16) in Pozoan in the next round which should be another easy win for them. AZS Kutno will play on the road against Stal Ostrow (#3) in Ostrow Wlkp. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
