Important game to mention about took place in Toulouse. Thirteenth ranked Villeneuve D'Ascq (3-8) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 4th placed Toulouse (7-4) 78-75 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Toulouse. The guests were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 27-19 run, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Demetress Adams (193-87, college: S.Carolina) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and guard Julie Legoupil (173-84) added 20 points respectively for Toulouse in the defeat. Four Toulouse players scored in double figures. Villeneuve D'Ascq moved-up to twelfth place. Newly promoted Toulouse keeps the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Lyon. Villeneuve D'Ascq will play against higher ranked Tarbes (#10) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Toulouse will play against Lyon (#4) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
